About Goorsha

Goorsha serves traditional Ethiopian fare in the heart of Durham.

The restaurant is well lit and has spacy seating – both inside and outside seating by the road.

Being a vegetarian, I tried many vegetarian fares on their menu and would give them thumbs up.

If you like fried food, then don’t miss their appetezer Sambucha ( tastes and looks like the Indian version Samosa).

Their vegetarian entries gives you an option to choose 3 entries and 2 side dishes for vegetarians and 2 entries and 2 sides for non-vegetarians.

Each entry / side is accompanied with traditional Ethiopian sour-dough bread.

Knives are optional in this restaurant.

Do not miss their jalapeño sauce if you’re looking to spice it up a bit.
